I am not student of YNNU, but I am living near the Yi'eryi Campus. There are many bars and restaurants at Wenhua Xiang (Wenhua Lane), where you can find many friends from other countries and Kunming, or other places of China. Have a good day in Kunming. The Sarvados is one of the most popular bars at this lane.

me too I will start at ynnu this september. I already reveived all the papers 3 weeks ago. will arrive the 3rd September in kunming.

For the rooms I got told that there are always 2 people in one room. It's normal for the rooms for foreign students.

it's true, 2 people in one room. but if u really really want to live in it by yourself, u just pay for the other bed.

I'll be there too, arriving in the first week of September. It would be great to meet up with who ever is interested as I wont know anyone when I arrive :)
