I'm in YNNU at yi'er yi street campus. Registration was supposed to be from 24th August to 29th, but Su Jie at the international students centre said the term dates have changed, and they're waiting for new dates. Most likely the first week in September.

I'm going to be arriving on 26th August, stay at YNNU apartments for two weeks then try and find an apartment.

If registration is put back a week, gives us a little extra time to go sight seeing :D

Dec. 1 Street is 1-2-1 Street or Yi-Er-Yi Street, and in the center of the downtown college district. There are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Salvador's, on Wen Hua Xiang, a block or two away, is probably the best place to meet other Westerners. Look at the Listings in this website and you'll find other places, too.

Hi peeps, I got accepted for semester starting Jan/Feb 2016 in YNNU, so happy to keep in touch in here until I get there!

I'll be on Chenggong Campus! :) Can anyone tell sometyhing about the campus? How are the dorms for people from outside China (are there really 2 people in one room)?
