Good Movies for 2015

I have had surprisingly good luck with movie crowds, and I can be picky. i do not like the choose a sit in advance like it is a rock concert thing. People take forever.

we have not been to a film in over a year too and it is because we are not super fans of meiguodapian (or blockbuster) films only. They're okay but obviously here they only go for the superficial stuff that will generate revenue.

So what was good about this movie? The story sounds good but it got pretty bad reviews everywhere I've looked and didn't make much money. I don't always agree with critics but it's hard to find anyone who says anything good about this movie.

Downloading movies (FREE) here in China is still a great deal although a few of the sites I used to download from are no longer Free or have discontinued their service. Best of all is that I can see films even before they arrive at the cinema and they are of great quality.

The only problem I have recently (last 2 years) is that the size of the films have increased dramatically. Used to be most videos were about 700 Kb, then they jumped to about 1.5 G, but recently they are 4-6 and even 12 G. This is only a problem when there is a very good film that is worth keeping.

My wife downloaded a free program that shirnks the video size to a more manageable size. I found the best videos were made by the Half CD Team. Most are older videos but they are great quality and have many languages and subtitles available.

Most importantly, Free downloading eliminates the need for reviews. A great example of how useless reviews are is the film 12 Years a Slave which won the Academy Awards. Great film but there really was no mention or hype about this film. Most of the time, movies with great reviews are worthless yet the ones we never hear about are truly great films.

@HFCAMPO Watched both Dirty Grandpa and Race that you recommended on here and both were good films. Really enjoyed the Race film about Jesse Owens, I'd give that one a big thumbs up :o)
