Does anyone know of a place that's reasonably central in Kunming where you can have an outdoor barbecue? I am looking for somewhere to relax with a lot of friends and my apartment is too small!

i can't think of any parks where barbecuing is allowed, but Uprock has a rooftop area that actually has a small lawn of real grass on it, i don't think it's that busy during most days... you could probably arrange something with the management if you call or stop by

in haigeng park, near dianchi. you can have barbecue there. 海埂公园. you only need to take your food, other stuff need to rent from the park.
