What I want to find is the normal cost of hiring a housekeeper, regardless of their background and character.

In the current market, expect to pay upto 25rmb per hour for an hourly paid ayi. You can still find some for 20 rmb. Some people have got them for less, but those who have them cheaply, have had them for a while. Either that or they are students/fresh grads, who don't usually last. It is crazy to think that they earn more than some local teachers.

There was an ad on here about a week or two ago, someone trying to find a new post for their old ayi. Not sure if they would be suitable, but worth a look at least.

FYI you won't be able to really find any until after the holiday, after March 1st. Most will have gone back to hometown.
