Is it true it's very easy for white guys to meet girls here? Anyone to share any experience? (Personally not a big fan of bar girls)

By bar girls are you euphemistically referring to prostitutes? Or do you literally just mean girls in bars?

Its not difficult to meet girls, provided you occasionally leave the house.

KM girls are the worst though.. ;)

If you want to meet local Chinese girls, then learn the language and culture (if you have not already) and just talk to them when you see them.

It took you an hour? How learning challenged you are. It is as easy as writing, "I am proficient in six languages."

I guess when you refer to bar girls, you must think of girls 富二代 (Golden youth) going to chinese clubs. It seems like it is easy for one-night stand but often these girls are spoiled, not interesting...well however a lot of "nice" girls go to bars frequented by foreigners to find....foreigner boyfriend! Moondog, The Mask, Irish pub, you can find cool girls there, unless really bar is not your type.
Then i suggest you to use Wechat or Momo (陌陌) (two phone apps), you can meet pretty much every kind of girls there. Speaking chinese is a real plus (i guess 20-30% of the girls on the internet can have a proper discussion in english), and you will improve your writing skills a lot!
At last, I am just guessing, if I would want to find a chinese gf, I would go to english corner, try and see. You are sure to meet them in another context than a bar at least.

You will find that these forums contain a few angry, sarcastic, unhelpful posters. I suggest ignoring them. If you want to meet nice local girls, it might be a good idea to get some advice from people who have nice Chinese girlfriends. I feel that such people would recommend the following:

1. Study Chinese. Obviously, I did not say to obtain native fluency in ten minutes. But also obviously, you need to have some basic, conversational Chinese to interact with Chinese girls, as least to ask where they are from, talk about the weather, etc. It is a big plus in their eyes.

2. Chinese dating culture is very different from that of the West. I suggest reading up a bit on their dating habits and assumptions, or you might quickly find yourself in an awkward situation, as we all probably have haha.

3. I like paulwind6's advice about going to an English corner or two. The girls who go there speak some English, and it is a casual, no-pressure way t have a nice conversation with no expectations.

4. I generally find that Chinese girls are easier to talk to tan Western girls. That is my own, personal observation, and could be wrong. But I find that it is no problem to say hello and just start a conversation with a Chinese girl, whereas a Western girl would be immediately suspicious.

There is a huge difference between girls who speak and do NOT speak English. English is taught in most schools beginning in the 3rd grade. The big difference is education. If you are looking for an uneducated CunGu (Village girl) then you will need chinese because she will not speak english.

I recommend a girl who is learning or already speaks some English (some education). This also depends on what you are REALLY looking for. If you want a real gf then find one who speaks some english, if you just want to hide the sausage it really doesn't matter where you hide it.

You need to learn Chinese anyway, perhaps, and there are plenty of girls who will be interested in language exchange if you are a native speaker (especially) speaker.
