if youre renting get insulation gel or film. i like the gel more because you can apply layers and it doesnt warp. its easy to remove with gunk off (heavy duty remover). i bought my apartment so i invested in cellular shades and sealed window gaps with a gel like sealer that has to be replaced every year or so.
