Now you know why people sell things off the back of their cars on the streets.

If you need a licensed design and decoration company, contact me.

Ours is one of the longest established ones in Kunming.
(Plus we try not to cut corners hahaha).

We also have a bar in the Guandu district if you want to have a look to orientate.

Yes Liumingke1234, even my local chinese friends told me not to do business in China. As the procedure seems as a long term and money consuming procedure.

Seek the advice of those experienced in business in Yunnan for over 3 years. Have the kind of captial available as suggested. Do a business plan with market research just as you would any place else. If your customers are to be mostly foreigners know there fewer in Kunming and what they want to buy. Salvadors, Irish Pub, Moondog and others have been in business here sucessfully. Others like lazy bones closed up. Cacao has struggled. Ask Slice of Heavens owner how she is doing. Max Ping has helped many businesses in Yunnan. Attorney Edmond Yang with YingKe the same. Both of them for many years but sometimes on different levels. PM me back if you wish.

@ Mizpah. If you succeed making a good profit with/under a local partner the chances are very high that you'll get the smallest end of the deal.

If you do succeed alone expect a long career in micromanaging as posted on the first page of this thread..it"s a long road ahead.

I would suggest to live here for a year before you commit 100%
