I am an earthquake virgin so please be gentle. Anyway,, on the 26th at 2.20 am I experienced my first earthquake here in Kunming. It wasn't a big deal I guess but I could clearly feel the building move and I saw lose hanging objects swing around. My neighbours ran downstairs but the whole thing only lasted about 10 seconds. Did anyone else notice it?
didn't feel it.... but there was actually 2 earthquakes at the Myanmar-China:

On USGS website (American), it seems there was only one: not the one you felt (2:20 - 4.3 - Myanmar) but the 2nd one at 4:20 am in China. it was stronger : 4.9 according to China, 4.7 according to USGS.
I felt quite a strong shake, a bit after 2 am, near the intersection of Long Quan Road and the Second Ring Road, a rather smaller one, around 3:15. No damage to buildings, glass, etc.

I felt a little one about 2:30, was asleep by 4:20.
I was sleeping deadly and didn't feel anything at all...
i felt it strong, lots of my classmates ran downstairs
Kunming's not that far from Myanmar, so I bet you felt that one.
Philou, your url appears broken. Where was the China one?
It is in Yiliang, 4.3, only 32km from Kunming
yes, sorry for the broken url, i wanted to point to this chinese article using google translate, but let me give you the chinese article directly:

32 km from Kunming, are you sure?????? 4.3? and it didn't wake me up? shoot! I thought it was also near Myanmar-China border.
Reports of the earthquakes are as bad as the salvador bombing. really wonder why this 4.3 earthquake is not on USGS:
