@Faraday? Why do we need to assume a Chinese name?
@Faraday? Why do we need to assume a Chinese name?
MPrin...i think no need legally, but if i had to point out the one thing thats helped me most, that would be it. I just find that it smooths out some of the wrinkles that arise in daily life. Basically, people remember me.
@serrure, ok, as long as it was possible to book a flight 1year in the future, everythings green. Thanks!
@mPrin @serrure, I also needed a med at shida for a 1 year study but avoided it by reducing my study to 11 months 29 days. And i also always get a return ticket, but that's because i usually enter by tourist visa. Tourists need a return, long~term students `should` not. About your different experiences regarding the return ticket, the visa offices in your home countries have different requirements.
@faraday reducing study time to 11 months is an excellent solution for short- term students, I'm a degree student so it's impossible for me.
I just applied for a new visa and I needed plane tickets, med exam, admission notice, jw202 and visa application form. I should get my one entrance student visa in ten days.
Ah, I get it. My one year of study here has been done per semester, so each semester I just sign up and pay for one meaning no need for the medical.
Regarding return ticket: I was on a work visa in another province and was advised to change that to a tourist visa before coming here, then change to a student visa when I got here, I guess because I was in country no ticket was needed. I did however, have to have 18,000RMB in the bank, had to show them a recent bank statement, which was a pain. Apparently we need 100USD a day to live in China!
A friend changed his work visa directly to a student visa, so it seems I wasted some money (and passport pages) with the way they suggested I do it. Oh well, TiC!
If youre american things are easy. Health check and return ticket are a cake
@xb6asd: Why's that?
