Dicos, KFC - is there a real difference? Been to Dicos many times (used to be one near my flat), but never to a KFC in Kunming, as far as I can remember.

Yeah, it's only a review in a loose sense haha, though he did give dots on categories. More like a challenge or special than a review, but still a funny read.
As to hot pot delivery, won't your whole place just smell like hot pot.
There are two things in life you cannot argue about: Food and religion.
As to me, nothing wrong about Mc Donalds. Of course it's not healthy, but hey most sauces that are used in Chinese restaurants contain even more Msg, artifical flavour, colour, preservatives, including some chemicals forbidden in Europe.
Where and what you want to eat is entirely up to oneself.
@Kate, I disagree - you can argue about anything.

Here is one of Dandoval doing Chengdu hotpot
@Alien, I disagree - you can't argue with Kate.
@Alien:
Maybe you need to explain to me, why can you argue about food?
It's too salty, too greasy, too expensive, it gives you the runs, it's unhealthy?
In the end, it just comes down to whether you like the food or not.

Not on this forum.
Kate, I humbly disagree, because, as a former culinary school graduate and restaurant person, I know that the field of Gastronomy is a discipline like any other. There are, in fact, objective principles which make some food good, and some food bad. Sure, everyone has preferences, but there are limits, in my opinion.
