Puzhehei has a high-speed train station, conveniently named after the area. Exploring the Stone Forest Geopark

Stone Forest Geopark (石林风景区), this area is the home of the legendary Ashima and features average temperatures between 16°C and 25°C. Shilin Scenic Area is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a global geopark, boasting unique karst formations that have formed over 270 million years. It's also a popular filming location, providing a dramatic natural backdrop for various TV dramas. Shilin Scenic Area is located in the Shilin Yi Autonomous County (石林彝族自治县), the Yi ethnic (彝族) minority is one of the ethnic groups in China with a long history and ancient culture. The most efficient way to travel to Shilin is by taking the high-speed train. You can catch a high-speed train from Kunming South Station to Shilin Station, with a journey time of about 1 hour. Upon arriving at Shilin Station, you can easily take a taxi or local bus to reach the Stone Forest Geopark, making for a convenient and enjoyable travel experience.
