The table football tournament at Moondog tonight will include live music from owner Joost, plus a prize of imported beer for the champion player. The party starts at 9:30pm.

David and Steve of Kunming-based band The Great Apes play live rock music tonight at 1895 Movie Bar. On Saturday, Joost plays a folksy solo acoustic set. On both nights the music will start at 10pm and half-liter cans of Valentin's Weissber will be on special for 18 yuan.

Laowo Bar will host a beatbox competition and hip hop party Saturday with MCs from around the province. Entry is 25 yuan and includes a free bottle of beer.

Eddy Kneefel plays a solo, soulful acoustic set at 1896 Sports Bar on Saturday. Half-liter cans of Valentin's Weissbier will be 18 yuan. The music starts at 10pm.

Valentine's Day
For those who want to give their significant other something special on the 14th, Shining Florist is running a special Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of 22 percent off all rose products.

The Box will run a Valentine's Day special all day: a heart-shaped pizza, egg salad, tiramisu and two glasses of wine, a Beerlao pitcher or two soft drinks for 108 yuan.

Nolza Health Club will also run the following Valentine's special: from noon, full use of facilities (dry sauna, yoga classes, gym, etc.), a French-style dinner in the evening, plus wine, music, games and more from 8 to 11pm. The cost is 520 yuan per couple or 288 per single.
