Slice of Heaven is starting a new Friday happy hour this week with all beers three for the price of two. The happy hour will run every Friday from 5:30 to 7:30pm.

For Dali denizens, Jack & Ed will play a live World music show at The Dali Hump tonight as they make their way toward a set at the upcoming Snow Mountain Music Festival in Lijiang. The duo draws from a range of influences to create a haunting sound on flute, guitar and other instruments. The free show starts at 9pm.

Tonight's event at The Hump Bar is "Radio Jasper—Cosmic Mish Mash." We're not really sure what that means, but we do know that it's free, includes 10 yuan tequilas, and starts at 10pm.
Saturday: Jack Miller's birthday at Samoana Café
Parents of young children take note: Jack Miller is turning three this Saturday and his dad is throwing a bash at Samoana Café for everyone with young children to come and enjoy. Musician Liang Yingyu (梁颖与) and her band will perform at Halfway House on Sunday. Entry to the 9pm show is 25 yuan.
