There are shows at 10-12:00/12:30, 14:00-18:00, and 19:30-20:00 for the Yunnan Library. Beichen is 10-12:30, 14:00-18:00, 19:30-23:00. Huanyin is 10-13:10, 14:00-18:20, and 19:00-21:30. Most of the movies today have English subtitles at all venues (exceptions are Beichen and 2nd theater for the library, and Huanyin morning shows and Huanyin 2nd afternoon show and first evening show). Any books in particular you are looking for? I have some textbooks in stock (used - Business English, Functioning in an Intercutural Community, Interchange, etc.) or you can check out virtually any bookstore (Xinhua on Dong Feng Xi Lu or Nanping Jie or Mandarin Bookstore on Wen Hua Xiang) for textbooks for English language learning for Chinese learners.

You can take busses 4, 22, 62, 120, 156, 160, or A1 to bai yao chang 白药厂 and the entrance to the alleyway to Nordica is sandwiched between two restaurants/convenient store (south side of the road).

It's on Xiba Lu (西坝路) and Huan Chun Xiang, a few minutes away from the Xiba Lu and Huan Cheng Xi Lu (环城西路) intersection.

Xiba Lu is in between Xin Wen Lu (新闻路) and Ankang Lu (安康路) with Nordica between Huan Cheng Xi Lu and Xi Chang Lu (西昌路).

To take the bus from the YunDa area, take bus 22 on Yi Er Yi Da Jie (121 Street) at the Shi Fen Da Xue Bus Stop (师范大学) on the same side as Yunnan Normal University (heading west) and get off at Bai Yao Chang.

Sorry, I don't know directions from the north, but with the information provided and google maps, hopefully you can find it on your own (go to the bus stations nearest you and see if any go directly to bai yao chang).
