We are a family with 4 kids (from 1yo to 15yo) traveling to Yunnan from 30/12 to 06/01.
Our main concern about this trip is that we don't really like crowd or touristy place, especially with kids, it can become really challenging.
With such a big family, it is also not realistic to spend all day walking down the streets visiting museums and temples, so we are really looking for a peaceful environment and fresh air so the kids can relax and possibly enjoy nature.
At first, I was planning to go from Kunming to Dali then to Lijiang. I was wondering if it would make sense to trade Dali with Xizhou and Lijiang to Shuhe to enjoy a bit more tranquility? We can still plan a day trip to both Dali and Lijiang.
Any other place that we should consider for our trip that will be peaceful and close to nature?
