Forums > Living in Kunming > First Time Post

You have to love many of the people who write a post for the very first time. As I look through some of the posts on this forum I realize many of the posts are written by someone using their username for the first time.

A certain (general/obvious) question is asked and some people either reply or ask specifics about the question. However, the person who wrote the post is never heard from ever again.

Another peculiar coincidence I find is that those same people making the first time post are never seen again, or comment, or write anywhere else.

Troll - In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

Forums > Study > Anthropology/Sociology Fieldwork in Yunnan

Very interesting! I would love to see the results of this study. Especially if there is significant work done on both rural areas as well as cities. Since you will not find fertility clinics in the small towns and villages it will be difficult for you to discern between city folk going to a fertility clinic and villagers going to a big city fertility clinic.

As most villagers can not afford going to a fertility clinic, I am sure your work will be one sided and mostly contain samples from the larger cities.

Infertility is a problem of the rich, not the poor. Poor people can't do anything about this problem other then live with the stigma of being infertile and probably divorce caused by this problem.

Since most of the samples will probably come from cities rather than villages, then you should focus on diet and source of the food, as diet is one of the biggest factors contributing to infertility. Especially in Big cities were women eat more GMO foods.

Another area to look at is the age of the woman and vaccines. There is an increase in infertility in young women because they received vaccines when they were young.

There is also a huge increase in children with Autism. As vaccines increase there is an equal rise of children with Autism. Just look at how many autism schools and hospitals are popping up around town.

Forums > Travel Yunnan > WWOOFing in China?

I have met several people who have been involved with this program and they were NOT happy with the results or the manner in which it was done.

www.wwoofchina.org/home/host-preview/

As you can see from the last website I provided, most of the host cities are in the north and east China. Also, see the locations, which are schools, cafes, and private homes.

This has nothing to do with farming, its all about politics and a few people who get suckered into slave labor. This is a great way to introduce GMO crops to farms that were previously organic.

War on Terror - Creates Terror
War on Drugs - Promotes drug use and drug trafficking.
War on Poverty - More poor people and less rich people.
Education - Head Start and now NO Child Left Behind - have produced more ignorant kids who can not pass a test and more juvenille delinquency.
Monsanto - The biggest lobby against food labeling.

Great!!! Finally!!! Glad to see this is now finally taking place. My wife and I were trapped in a Honk Kong tour for 2 days with the same type of evil person as described in this article. They held my wife's passport so we could not leave on our own and kept us trapped in a bus for hours were we had to listen to the BS the tour guide had to say.

Shizui - 石咀 - Stone Mouth - Now that they are building the subway line along Chun Yu Road in Majie I hope they fix the entrance to this station. Few people even know it is there and are probably not aware that they can get on the train at this station.

Right across the street from this station is Horse Racing Park which is still under renovation. There is a nice temple as well as a small zoo which includes ostrich, camels, yaks, and monkeys.

The new Visa office is located at 118 Tuo Dong Road. There is no number on the building yet so do not bother to look for it. There are 2 passport photo shops on either side of the building. The office is located directly in front of the Kunming Museum. The bus stop is named - Shi Bo Wu Guan - Bus 1, 62, 109, 117, 145, 213, A1 and K3 stop directly in front of the office. Foreigners need to go to the 3rd floor. The Tuo Dong Stadium is located to the right of the office while Baita Road is located to the left of the office.
