Do not delete the messages you received. Save them and file a police report. I know many people do not want to take the time to do this but believe me - it is worth the time.

These people continue to harass because no one takes the time to report them.

I just went through this a few weeks ago and the problem ended as soon as I filed a report. The police called each of the numbers that were sending me messages right in front of me at the police station.

I hope others can begin to see the writing on the wall - as it is very clear to me - Expect more rules and more censorship. In another similar post, Tiger briefly and directly stated - If it ain't broke, dont fix it. But no, the need to control, the need to make the world safe is too much for some to bear. What ever happened to the best rule of all - Live and let Live.

There are many times when I find some threads which I dislike but I find that Self censorship is the best - I just move on and continue with my life and not allow a few words on a screen to occupy space in my mind.

I found that people who are obssessed wish censorship (pornography, for example) on the internet are the same ones who can't keep their eyes off of it. Since they lack the self control to stop themselves they demand for censorship in hopes of bringing sanity to their own lives.

In the end, this site will self destruct on its own.

Revise, edit, proofread, correct, doublecheck, triple check, correct, help - Nice word game.

Spring, I agree with your comment - By the way, good people always see good things, evil people always see bad things.

Spring, I hope you do NOT think all westerners are the same. You came here for some simple assistance but all you got was sarcastic remarks. I will gladly help you check your paper but I am NOT an economics major. Send me private message of you still need help.

Crazy - I am wondering? What languages did you teach before? You stated that you have taught languages (plural) for years.

I am a 33 year old English teacher from French Louisiana. I will be in Kunming for about a year, then will be opening my own language schools around the world. I am educated with a Master's Degree in Languages. I have taught languages for years, including university level.

Nicy,

I am wondering? Do you have any western friends? Male or female? Any western teachers you may have met in the past? I am also wondering about your age? Are you in early 20s? Mid 20s? Early 30s? The reason I ask is because your age is relevant to this question.

Also, you wrote - I saw a lot of nice handsome guy looking for fun. I am confused. How do you know they are handsome? When you say you SAW, do you mean you actually saw them, met them, or do you mean you SAW their post?

Just yesterday I watched something about this on the bus. The Customs folks stopped and confiscated a few big trucks on the road from Puer. The trucks were not refridgerated so this is one of the cause of the problems. So if the meat did make it in to its final destination it had to be repacked and refrozen after the long trip. Perhaps the meat in the center of the truck can keep but surely not the meat on top or the sides.

Since I live on Zhao Zong Road I decided to pay this reservoir a visit via bus #7 which is 2 stops from my home.

The first thing I noticed is that there is plenty of constructuion going on - a new retaining wall is being built as well as a brand new pumping faciltiy with several large pipes to divert the water.

At the time this article was written, this reservoir may have just been a pond but that is no longer the case. "There are no pumping facilities or drains at Zhaozong Reservoir — it is simply a large pond".

The construction workers said that because water is such a precious commodity in Kunming every drop will be put to use in the near future.

Bus #7 to the Zhao Zong Yi Zu Cun Kou Bus Stop. Turn left when you see the Long Hua Temple a few meters before the main entrance to Sen Lin Hu = Forest Lake = 森林湖.

There were at least 20 redundant signs on the walking trail every 10 meters that clearly read - NO SWIMMING!

The new Visa office is located at 118 Tuo Dong Road. There is no number on the building yet so do not bother to look for it. There are 2 passport photo shops on either side of the building. The office is located directly in front of the Kunming Museum. The bus stop is named - Shi Bo Wu Guan - Bus 1, 62, 109, 117, 145, 213, A1 and K3 stop directly in front of the office. Foreigners need to go to the 3rd floor. The Tuo Dong Stadium is located to the right of the office while Baita Road is located to the left of the office.
