A lot of people used to use forums as a kind of chat room. Social media has taken over that role for many. Foreigners can leave China but getting a visa to enter is nearly impossible. People who leave at the end of their rotation are not being replaced by FOBs. A lot of people who went home christmas new year holidays 2019 could not come back. On the good side wages have gone up.

Who said none of this reported because of 'stock market fallout'. As far as I am aware the media is focused on fall out from the Jan 6th investigations, attempts to subvert the DoJ, oh and R politicians stopping people from working towards protecting people from Covid.

There is a danger of conflating the legal trade in wildlife, with the illegal trade in wildlife. Most of the animals traded are not endangered species.

Sounds like 'when the cat's away the mice will play'. Taking advantage of a temporary opening to push through an agenda. There is a certain brand of politician to feels entitled to do anything you can get away with. The end justifies the means, doesn't matter if it is right or wrong.

Beer, 5 stars. A genuine German beer process, and a very drinkable product.

Food, 1 star. As a previous reviewer noted, autobahn rest stop type food. A very limited menu of lackluster choices. You would get more choice at a street corner schnell imbis in Germany.
The mushroom pizza (choice of one pizza) was OK but very small for the price. The sausage was not hot. Meat products should not be served luke warm, even if they are factory cooked like a Bratwurst.

I would go back for the beer, but would not take anyone there for the food.
