I am new to Kunming and finding it fascinating. I've long been interested in China. I still have a long way to go on my Mandarin skills, but I do have an opportunity to stay on a long-term basis. This is largely dependent on the local Web Development Talent that would be available for hire (I'm the CTO of a tech company and have a project that I would like to run from here). Does anybody have any insight into basic English speaking talent in the area? What kind of pool is available? Any firms or communities in the area?
