Thanks both Hedgepig and Chris. I took Douji there today and to my amazement they are a great group. Anny was extreamely helpful in not only Douji's need but also helped me find a hotel, give me info on the area and even pointed me in the right direction for a decent coffee! They seem to have a great selection of pet supplies (mostly imported) at reasonable prices. if there was a star system here they would get 5!
Does anyone out there know of any boarding kennels that would be reputable enough that my 3 year old golden retreiver could stay at while I house hunt? I am hoping to line up a place before I arrive but just in case.........
Or even better yet a serviced apartment/hotel that would allow dogs?
Thanks LJL, good advice although I was hoping to get my feet wet before arriving. I have spent 20+ years in the manufacturing sector, I am a self taught graphic designer and also have set up and run my own F&B in shanghai. So lots of skills but all over the map. My Chinese needs work! Preferably I'd like to find a company that has marketable products for export but I will see what I can find when I get there.
Does anyone here know where the best place to look for non-teaching positions in KM? Looking.........but teach or go home seems to be the message here.
