I normally go to Yunnan University's little weight room. They have a yoga room next door that would probably be ok to use. I am waiting until the end of August or start of September before I get some free time. As it says on the embassy website, you should get the job before going to a place. A little something called planning. And, yes, China is bigger than Kunming, so it would be pretty obvious you would get job offers in China, but not Kunming. Haha.
