Forums > Living in Kunming > Long term health (feeling) Maybe a good time for a proper health screening again compared to what’s given in Kunming, but I was thinking more along the lines of does just living in Kunming seem to take a toll on you after living here a fair bit? When compared to living a more comfortable life in the west anyways.
Probably not as seems to be the consensus from lack of answers lol.
Forums > Living in Kunming > Long term health (feeling) Maybe a silly, paranoid question put down to the way I always seem to feel these days, but here goes anyway...
Don’t remember feeling this way before in Kunming but I swear for about a year now, maybe more, I permanently seem to feel like **** (use your own point of reference). Is this just Kunming wearing the body down with high altitudes, dry dusty feeling and many a dodgy meal or am I just too harsh on good old Kunming? I’ve lived here coming on six years now so the place has had plenty of time lol.
Another point I was thinking was maybe my son started nursery last year so more bugs about but who knows there either.
I’m just interested in others views or experiences on this, being good one week, then feeling **** the next seems to have become the norm and there’s nothing worse than just feeling drained so regular.
Forums > Living in Kunming > ExpressVPN Weirdly a few apps like WhatsApp are connecting without any outside help, where as before you’d need the software to connect to it.
As always though, it shows if China is really bothered about stopping these types of software it can. They just don’t put the full time effort in most of the time.
Hopefully, they never do!

‘Also, I had in mind the faint possibility that our troll of the moment might read the clinical description of his own behavior, have a flash of self-awareness, and modify his behavior sooner rather than later.’
Just another shot 4 them lol
Forums > Living in Kunming > Serpenza, C Milk (& ADVChina) @janjal Agree with you that if things were to get that locked in I’d have to move on then as I also rely on too much outside of China. But while the GFW is sufferable then on we go.

Government bans swimming at tourist-friendly Fuxian Lake
发布者@geogramatt I've noticed they like to start as early as nursery (like my sons class) in some places now so that's got to be an improvement in thinking. I remember back in the day as a 5 year old starting swimming lessons in the UK. We never had our own school pool but would be taken to the local swimming pool on lesson days.

Interesting article just today on how museums are able to now spot fakes a lot more convincingly. Surely reading this you'd have to say 'ok dinosaurs
Stone Age graveyard discovered in Yunnan's Chuxiong Prefecture
发布者Maybe but the area is already known for it as the article says :
"Yuanmou County is already the celebrated home of the eponymously named Yuanmo Man — a distant ancestor of modern humans discovered in 1965. The prefecture also claims Yunnan's one and only Dinosaur Valley (恐龙谷)"
