Hi all,

I have a problem with my visa. I am currently on an X2 visa but I need to go overseas for a family affair - which means if I leave China, automatically my visa will be cancelled right?

The question is, is there any way for me to change my X2 visa to X1 right now, while I haven't left China yet? Just to be sure that I have a visa to re-enter again once I leave. Because currently, my passport shows I was a tourist, and then a student, and then will be a tourist again to enter China before getting my X2 again after arriving by then.

If there is any contact you can provide, it will be greatly appreciated.
