Hi!

I'm living in Lijiang, and am really missing my regular routine of swimming... I know that some hotels will allow day passes to their pools, but I was wondering if anyone knew of an actual lap swimming pool in town?

I've done a bit of searching, but to no avail. The hotels that have tiny plunge pools have better SEO than the municipal swimming pool, if there is one!

I'm not the best person to ask about the Kunming scene, as I'm living out of Lijiang.

However, I seem to have purchased the only bass in Kunming, and will be wanting to sell it on in Late July, early August!

any updates on this more recently? I've heard it's quite difficult nowadays... Does anyone know if it's still feasible to extend a tourist visa? (I'm Australian, if that makes a difference.)
