I was told from the airport to Lijiang city centre, where you transfer to an Express Bus to Jianchuan county. Then you can transfer to mini bus service from Jianchuan to Shaxi old town.

There is no direct bus from Lijiang airport to jianchuan or shaxi ?

Hi,

I thought so too for 4 days in a old town is not much to do.
But just want to have a slower pace and quiet holiday.
I'm thinking of cycling around to have some explorations and maybe hiking too.

Would like to have lake side hotel stay to enjoy the night stars and the lake.

Hi there,

Will be staying in Dali from Thu 20th Nov to Sat 29th Nov.

Will be arrival from Lijiang International airport.

I'm planning to stay 4 nights in Shaxi old town, Old Theatre Inn.

And then I would continue to Erhai lake, stay in XiZhou for another 4 nights.

Last day, will leave for Lijiang airport.

Question, should i start from Xizhou Erhai lake or Shaxi old town ? Any preference?
