I believe I have until tomorrow to get the second test, if one is possible to get. If not, and I turn yellow because of it, well TIC.

Well, I got the first negative test at a testing station 2 days ago. But today when I went to the same place for second test, I was told that they only test those with yellow codes.
@michael2015:
You got 3 _booster_ shots already? Or do you mean 3rd shot overall?
I received SMS today, which my wife translated to state that if I don't go get the free test (like today or something), my health code will automatically change to yellow, and then there will be more trouble. So I went to get the free swap.
But it was pure luck that I even checked the SMS - I get too much spam to bother translating every message.
Cannot vouch for any specific hospitals or doctors, but given the usual symptoms of said disease I would think carefully the details of the trip. Much depends also on your Chinese proficiency.
if you would be road tripping to all the typical destinations scattered around Yunnan, finding (in western terms) adequate hospitals wherever you go is probably too much to hope for. Long bus trips alone could be trouble.
If you stick to Kunming, Dali, Lijiang and Jinghong, all of which are nowadays accessible by high-speed trains, and only do short daytrips from these cities, it may be doable.

Czech visa service center opens in Kunming
发布者The text is really not clear about that point. Schengen visa does indeed allow you to travel freely within the Schengen area, but entering the Schengen area is not that simple.
Generally you are required to apply for visa via the consulate of country of entry to Schengen area. If you fly from Kunming to Paris, you may have to apply Schengen visa from French consulate - Czech or other countries' consulates may refuse the application.
Flight ticket reservations (round-trip China-Europe-China) are usually required, so they see what your entry point is. In above example, Czech immigration probably does not want to take responsibility if you fly to France and then decide to stay there as illegal immigrant.
But if your flight ticket allows cancellation and changing the point of entry after you get the visa, you are probably fine. Though I would not be surprised if there are questions on arrival passport check.
