@Alien with 'same standards' I mean service, cleanliness, equipment, tools, communication with the dentists etc. were similar to what I have experienced in Europe. I haven't kept the bills but I remember thinking it was more or less as expensive as in Europe. Certainly not cheap. I have been to Huiying before, I thought it was ok for a teeth clean, but I wouldn't go back.
I am very happy with Lanchie Dental Clinic in Beichen. Most dentists speak good English and have been trained abroad. www.gokunming.com/[...] same standards (and prices, more or less) as back in my home country.
Has anybody recently been to 安宁温泉心景花园酒店 (Kunming Anning Spring Soul Garden Spa & Resort) in Anning? or can anybody recommend a good hotel in Anning?
Before planning to get a job teaching English, make sure you meet the requirements for a work visa. At the moment a Bachelor Degree, a tesol/tefl/celta certificate -you can easily get one online!, 2 years work experience, and a background check certificate from your home country are required. Rules keep changing, China is about to introduce a new system to issue work permit to foreigners. if you are not a native speaker (better: if you do not hold a passport from an English-speaking country) rules are much stricter, and keep changing as well. Having said that, if getting a work visa is not a problem, you could easily find a private tutor or a language exchange partner to help you learn Chinese (lots of ad here in the listings section)

Lost Garden has recently been renovated and now features a cafè/restaurant and new management. Great cozy atmosphere, just around the corner from Green Lake, lovely terrace on the third floor with lots of sun in the afternoon and the best brunch in town. We tried the breakfast skillets - very generous portions and the food is prepared using fresh local ingredients. Coffee was great and the drinks menu includes mimosas and bloody mary. Not to be missed!
Great food and nice atmosphere! A good selection of drinks —coffee, juices, wine and teas - I especially love the lemongrass tea, and lots of tasty dishes, such as lentil+tempeh+quinoa curry and the beets/tuna sashimi bowls. Lots of vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options. highly recommended!!
I have been here several times over the last two years. High quality, authentic Italian taste. Portions could be bigger, but prices are fair, considering they use imported ingredients. I definitely recommend pizzas, desserts, lamb and steaks.
Czech visa service center opens in Kunming
发布者If visiting only one country in the Schengen space, you should apply to the embassy/visa centre of that country. If visiting several Schengen countries, you should apply to the embassy/visa centre of whichever country is your 'main destination' - the country in which you plan to spend the most time during your trip, regardless of which flight you take.
A look back at April's Spirit Tribe Trance celebration
发布者@fixitwithahammer just to clarify: I wasn't at the festival myself, my comment was based on what a few friends, who had been there in person, told me.

发布者I have never been and I am curious about it, do you know when the next one will be organised?
Also, from friends who went last time, I have heard that people were not allowed to bring their own food (not even snacks?), and that the bar was poorly managed.
