I don't know what year that film was made in but those guys look like weirdos. One guy even has a mullet. I couldn't finish that documentary, the production was to low and the voice over girl was just annoying.

I have a lot of gay friends here. It's pretty much the San Francisco of China here. Pandora's is the main gay bar in town, and Moondog is gay friendly as well. I never heard of anyone having problems here, so I think you'll be okay in most places.
I am looking for places that both scene but also authentically capture the local life of people in Yunnan. I am hoping to find out about some lesser known places.

@Everyone else: Just got back from the photo exibit. It's definitly worth a look. The photo's were really good. I think Jolie Luo has a lot of potential as an artist.
