Moreover rate of transmission is not what makes a disease dangerous. It's the fatality Aids/HIV have a higher fatality rate than gonorrhea and syphilis. Aids/hiv also doesn't have a cure while syphilis does. That's why it's more dangerous.

The main reason Aids is a problem in Africa is because in many areas in Africa are poverty stricken and they do not have good health care. The situation is then compounded by religious nuts, snake oil sales men, and Aids deniers who say it either isn't a big deal or even go so far to say it doesn't exist.

And why do you even care that it happens in Africa? That has absolutely NO bearing on whether or not AIDs causes HIV.

How about you stick to your original point? That AIDs/ HIV does not have serious consequences.

You're statistics fail to mention that many of those companies shut down while testing was being done and that nobody is going to be in a film with someone they know has aids. Performers doing porn with others who don't have the disease is an irrelevant statistic.

Moreover your stats can't account for people that contracted the disease and chose not to get tested.

However this is all irrelevant to your original point that AIDs/HIV isn't a serious disease.

In 2012 35.3 million contracted the disease and 1.6 million died from it.

And no court cases are not simply resolved by listening to people's testimony. This isn't the 1800's.

Scientific evidence is being used frequently in court cases, while personal testimony is being shown to be less and less reliable.

People spread lies for all kinds of reasons. They might be stupid and guilible. They might be crazy. They might be trying to sell something. They might being doing it for fun. Like I said, many reasons.

So no, it's not silly to write off someone's testimony. What's silly is believing people because they said so.

Personal testimony is the worst form of evidence there is. Even if what that guy says is true it doesn't mean anything. Magic Johnson played in the NBA and guess what? He still has a serious disease. Also nobody is debating whether people who are HIV+ can exercise.

Did you even know that David Rasnick was involved in a scam to sell vitamins with Matthias Rath in South Africa? Or that he's never conducted research with people that have HIV or AIDS? You did not. If you cared about what is true, you would have done at least a cursory check.
