In Beijing and Dali ... When girls found I owned a apartment or house ..... The panties came off. I am talking about 60% of the time.... Own a car and apartment it jumped to 80% ..... 3 motorcycles..... Did not help unless they were under 23.... Money matters more then age looks...
When I moved to Dali it took me almost two weeks to register as the policeman that knew how to do the registration was not in for a few days ... Then he was on vacation.
@janjal the wood comes from the lumber yard scraps when they are cutting the boards from trees. The outside pieces that are tossed or the boards that fail quality control ( to knotty or falls apart) Better then burning coal I would suspect.
Also got some insulation strips for around the doors. If I could find proper thermal glass, I would be very happy.
my house in Dali I put 3 high efficiency wood burning stoves to heat my place. Wood is cheap .. I get a truck load which is about 6 chords once cut for 300 rmb .... I am canadian and this definitely not northern canada .... It is chilli on the mountain at night. This warms the house pretty well. I just feel I am at my cottage for a couple weeks of the year.
