Forums > Travel Yunnan > Train Ticket Booking Office There's a ticket office on Beijing Lu, opposite fortune centre. I don't know how good they are with a non mandarin speaker (like me), but if you could have a chinese friend write down what you need/ have them on phone standby just in case, it should be fine. Don't forget to bring your passport!
Forums > Living in Kunming > What to bring to Kunming? Squats aren't too bad. Tip: you don't have to take a whole leg out of its trouser to avoid weeing on yourself, there is a technique! Bigger tip: ALWAYS have tissue in your bag, ALWAYS.
Forums > Living in Kunming > "official notification" invitation for F-visa (business) I'm pretty sure if you want a year and multiple entries you'll have to get a z visa which allows you to get a residence permit and therefore affords you the luxury of staying for 12 months but leaving as much as you like. But I may be wrong and there have been some changes to the process recently. Can anyone else chime in on this?
Forums > Food & Drink > Fish and chips in KM? You want proper "chippy"? Not a chance. But what I wouldn't give for a bag of chips smothered in salt and vinegar and a cold pint of cider to wash it down!
Forums > Food & Drink > clean and safe chinese food flengs- sounds great. What's the name of the restaurant? Can't access google plus without vpn

发布者You're right, the elephants will be persecuted for a land use issue.
Japanese-style hot springs in Anning
发布者We actually stayed the night there and treated ourselves to a suite because it was a special occasion, it was worth it though because we had our own private pool which meant we could avoid the big complex when it was busy. I think it's around 150 for a day pass but watch out for the onsite restaurant, it's pricey and they'lll definitely try to make you order the 168kuai mushrooms!
P.S yes they still have the fish filled pool!
