I bought a good SKB hardshell case from one of the shops on Yi Er Yi. I'm sure if you do the rounds of all the shops there (or on Xi Chen Lu), you will find what you're looking for.

How does the 'arms race' come into this story?
There's a shop selling Australian goods in the shuncheng plaza. Not solely food products, but might be worth a look. Down the escalators on nanping jie (basement level) and straight ahead on the left hand side.
Wow, that's a lot of guacamole!
@hfcampo, "then"=a point in time, "than"=a means of comparison. Please try and use the word "than" in your posts from time to time (you put a different twist on the phrase "..die on your feet then live on your knees..")
Perhaps the moderators could blow the whistle a little earlier on some of these clearly offensive comments, although I appreciate they can't be monitoring forums all hours of the day.
Forums also serve the purpose of allowing people to vent their frustrations to an extent, but some of the name calling that's been going on lately benefits no-one.

Around Town: Flying Tigers Museum
发布者I saw this museum back in March this year, and thought it was well worth a look through (although it took me a while to locate it first time). I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in wartime history. There's also a Flying Tigers museum in Chongqing. It was a bit smaller, from memory, but also well worth the visit.
