If you go two blocks north of the main Kunming train station, there are a bunch of travel agents lining the street. You can't miss them. Many of them will be able to set you up with tours.

There is a martial arts school for kids next to the Walmart at the corners of Beijing Rd. and Lin Yu Rd. in the north. When you're heading north on Beijing Rd., turn R at Walmart, and it's in a shop on the right side of the street a block or two down. They might be able to help you find where to buy supplies, since their students seem to have them.

Your favorite deodorant. You can get some kinds here in western-style shops, but it's not cheap, and selection is very limited.
