that is strange. i don't know why. perhaps you need to go over a vpn to pay for a vpn!

and its gone up, its now $129 per year.

i just submitted a ticket on their site asking why they no longer sell to people in China? I'll update when i get a reply

As well as multiple servers 12vpn has multiple protocols (PPTP, L2TP, IPSec, IK2Ev2 and OpenVPN) so its pretty much unbeatable. I've managed to use it over 2 mobile networks, all the fixed ISPs and over multiple devices.

Dave79, the visa is valid for 180 days each visit. so we do need to leave after 6 months (probably spend a weekend in hong kong) and then come back in for another 6.

Forums > Living in Kunming > Samsung vs Anycall

Actually Anycall is just the Samsung brand name for mobile phones in Asia. It has nothing to do with the radio technology inside or the network they have a partnership with. I've had Anycall branded phones that were GSM and WCDMA in the past.

Just check the specifications clearly before you buy.

thats interesting. I wonder if they'll lay some data cables at the same time. Right now all data comes in and out of China via Tianjin, Guangzhou and Shanghai. Therefore to get to Europe from Yunnan it has to go across china, across the pacific, across the US and then across the atlantic making it almost unusable. If they had data pipes going West on the proposed road/rail routes that could speed things up significantly.
