Amy I've actually been trying to get a hold of you to come look at your school. Can you PM here your contact details or respond to the message I sent you on Facebook?

JanJal if it's not too much trouble next time you pass the kindergarten could you get a contact number?

@Goldie, my son is two and a half, three in August. I also agree that interacting with older kids does improve the rate of a child's development, it's well known that a second child does learn social interaction and skills faster due to growing up with an older sibling.

Has anyone heard about OIKOS run by Chris (seems to be foreign run), it's near Hai yuan temple on the third the third ring road in the North West of Kunming? I have contacted him but he doesn't seem to be forthcoming with information about his kindergarten.

Goldie hiring an ayi is no comparison to a kindergarten, I'm just trying to find a good kindergarten that has a balance between decent education and playtime. The problem in China is that most public education is skewed only towards education with little time for kids to play and enjoy their childhood.

Useful article, I see you made mention of the bus and metro cards not being interchangeable. It would be great once more info on this is available that the article be updated. I was actually going to ask if the current bus cards could be used with the metro, as there is a picture of the metro on the card.

As a side note, the pictures are great, but on Firefox they cut into the text on the right, obscuring it. i.e. the classifieds and the comments section on the right of the page. Just thought I would mention this.
