Great information I am going to use it, stop along the way but still do you know how far in advance I can buy tickets, plan on leaving January 15 and got caught once in Nanning with no way home because the trains were full.

I never ate MSG when in USA, nor did I eat much oil and almost no sugar, wheat or dairy products. Since I have been in China I have lost half my hair, gained 30 pounds, cannot sleep, have joint pain, swelling of hands, swollen stomach, foggy brain, memory problems and am constantly thirsty-but no beer, only water, tea and coke zero. I only eat Chinese food. I have no idea how they stay so thin! I have asked Chinese women and they basically say starvation and laxatives. MSG is poison!!! It is wrong for them not to label it or offer products without MSG. Why do they have to put sugar in everything. From reading articles on diabetes, I see that China has a huge diabetes problem. If there are 2000 articles on how bad these products are for you and no articles saying MSG or sugar is good for you then it is illogical to say that it is ok to use these products. I always ask for less oil when ordering-they consider it an insult I think and just put more in than usual. I think the idea of Chinese food is the best way to eat but to load up on oil to save the vegetables from burning up in the wok is what it is all about. But oil costs more than vegetables. Again-illogical and extremely unhealthy. The only Chinese restaurants that serve dishes that are coated with special sauces rather than oil are the expensive ones. The best meals I have had in China were in someone's home.
I am serious! Since I have been living in China-4 years-I have lost over half the volume in my hair. I thought it was because of no iodine in water. Are there any suggestions or does anyone know of a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor who speaks English. I used to have the most gorgeous hair you have ever seen.

Kunming to monitor airborne particulate matter
发布者I have a lung condition so I check the real pollution index every day. I have been able to go out two days in the last month-it wasn't like this last y ear. I am getting out of here asap. Most expats do not have lung conditions so don't think it is affecting them-bah ha ha -it is going to get you too. I can feel it in my lungs and gauge the index- I am usually right on target. Spring City has become a death trap-
Kunming to become more civilized
发布者It is dangerous to ride the streets on a bike in this city because the cars are all parked in the bike lane. I would think this is a major problem. It is hard to try and get into the car lane with no mirrors and I have seen people get hit. Spitting on the sidewalk brings germs into the home we walk around all day with someone's illness then bring it into the house. I take off my shoes at the door but the germs are in anyway. Who cares about people cooking on the streets-this is China. But the people who ride the wrong way in bike lanes are dangerous. It seems to me that safety should be the main consideration.

发布者Wow, what a great poem. I am a poet coming to Kunming in June. I am excited to see the community involved in this great genre.
Congrats on your endeavor.
