Forums > Living in Kunming > Disscusing language school in Kunming

I agree with the original poster's opinion.

I am the poster who began the thread about KEATS.

I am simply sharing my views about the school. Now I have been threatened with a lawsuit by the same school, which is laughable because it has no grounds. Additionally, I will certainly exercise my legal right to criticise KEATS online, even from a foreign country until the cows come home, if they attempt to sue me.

The fact that the owner has responded in this way demonstrates my point about her personality - dictatorial and dismissive.

You can buy them on the third floor at the Hump. But they don't like to sell them to non-guests because they have limited supplies.

Every bag (4 in total) I have ever bought in China has broken early and often (even the expensive ones in the malls). Either it's a zipper or a buckle. I can't just keep buying new ones. Does anyone know where I can get a plastic buckle on a bookbag fixed? Thanks in advance.

Forums > Living in Kunming > iPhone usage in KunMing

Last week, before I came to China, I went to an Apple store in California and asked a sales agent about buying i-phones in HK. He said it could be done but that I would have to have a Hong Kong address because there is no physical store in HK. Anybody know if this is correct? I imagine there might be hefty tax on i-phones ordered from HK and delivered to Kunming.

By the way, the price he quoted me was around 4500 RMB (I think he was looking at Shanghai, so I'm not sure if the equivalent price applies in HK).
