I need an apartment, close to YunDa. It should be fully furnished, have internet and a washing mashine. Depending on size and quality I am willing to pay up to 2500 RMB a month. I'd like to rent the place for at least 8 month, maybe even longer.

Hi there!

I know there are a couple of posts on this forum, but all are rather outdated and none really helps me.
I have to decide pretty soon, which university in China to attend to study Chinese. I am an advanced intermediate level learner and have been in touch with both universities every now and then. Both seem alright, Yunnan Shifan Daxue seems to have a lot more foreigners/westerners, though.
I would really appreciate it, if anybody out there could comment on the quality of teaching at either of those unis.
If you have any other comments about those universities, please let me know!!

I also think about studying at Yunnan Normal. I have been in touch with them many times writing e-mails. Did you contact them in Chinese or English? The following address always worked for me when I used Chinese: icisynnu@yahoo.com.cn
As far as I know, all you have to do to apply is fill out the application form and pay the registration fee.

We might meet in November (I plan to start a bit later...)
