Forums > Living in Kunming > Euros 2012 I'm looking into ways of watching European Championship (soccer) games live, ideally with an English commentary. Any advice/websites?
Also, what's the difference between CCTV5 and CCTV5+? My TV has the latter but not the former. Does anyone know on which channel the matches might be shown?
Forums > Living in Kunming > What happened to GoKunming articles? I was wondering this too. Last article was 2 months ago (and was basically an advert). This used to be such a vibrant website which I checked daily. Much less so now.

Kunming natural history museum opens
发布者I saw this from the bus yesterday. Has anyone ever visited since it opened some 5 years ago? is it worth a look-see?
Getting Away: Songpan
发布者Did a similar horse/camping trip there about 13 years ago and it doesn't seem to have changed a lot... which is great.
Getting Away: Shicheng
发布者3RMB (instead of 175RMB) for a closer, more natural, less touristy site? I'm sold! Thanks GK!
Recipe: Yunnan-style chicken soup
发布者Good for "heath"? I'm up for "moor" typos! ;-)
Around Town: Xihua Wetlands Park
发布者I was there last week and it is a very unusual and pleasant part of greater Kunming. Hardly anyone there when I visited. The English on the sign I saw called it the "Urban Wetlands" if that helps to track it down. Not far from Guandu Old Town, which is a fun place to visit, too.
