Tudou,
Chinese poon means getting inside the pants of Chinese women in China.
I guess you think only "weirdos" go to clubs to hook up, even while living in other countries. If they were normal, what would they be doing instead?

If you think calling people poor is a good insult, what kind of person does that make you? Mr. Potter from "It's a wonderful Life" ?

Are you just an anti-sex prude, or also a xenophobe?

The replies of Serious, Tanya, and NNoble are the most clueless.

Laotou is the most weirdly and entertainingly consistent, same answer for every question ("kunmingren are backwards bumpkins").

Godard (despite his crappy films) seems closest to the mark.

@serious, your post is like pure ideology-you fail to see the connections between these issues, and present "a world out there" against some kind of comfy interior, mix in a little catholic shame, and presto...
Well, these things are connected in fairly obvious ways.

@Tanya, just because it is done doesn't make it OK. Businesses wanting to make money is not a human, ethical, moral, social, or artistic value or imperative to be respected. Given the situation in the world we live IN, and the country we live in, the category "foreigners" can not yet be compared to others such as "ladies". In China, foreigner usually means fundamentally different and alien, not just happening to be from another place. Racism and xenophobia are real issues in Kunming.

@NNoble
Are you serious ? Probably half the expats in Kunming ARE migrant workers, I know I am (English teacher).

In any case, putting someone on a pedestal or looking down on them, or seeing everyone who is not you as equivalent, all of these things are really antithetical to friendship.
