I would like to echo LaiNaiYangYu's sense of moral outrage and indignation. I too am a decent, hardworking purchaser of illegal pirate DVD's. I find it offensive and morally reprehensible that Pirate DVD factories do not hold themselves to a strict code of moral conduct.
I suggest that there be an internationally recognised Pirate Symbol, perhaps a skull and crossbones on the side of the box, to reassure purchasers that they are buying from a reputable criminal cartel.
Thank you for drawing the foreign community's attention to these demagogues.

You could get a decent place for that money. Most foriegners here pay about 1-2000 for two people. I have seen flats in your price range and they're quality places. You should be able to get a place overlooking the park.
I know at least one DJs works at Salvador's. You could ask there, also the Hump, Speakeasy, maybe some places in Kundu Yeshi but bars in the latter area are all Chinese owned. I dunno what the pay would be. I doubt it'd be enough to support a 4-5,000 RMB apartment.
