From the experience I had, the school is a mess. I applied for that school with the promise that they would have everything ready for me to apply for a new residence permit when I arrived there from Beijing, and told me I would not have to get there earlier than in the middle of January for them to be able to apply and get a new one before the 31st of January when my Visa ran out. The day before I left for Kunming they tell me they won't be able to do so and that I should apply for a month visa in Beijing, which was too late of course. When I get there the next day they inform me the visa application will take almost a month, and they haven't prepared any of the documents in advance except one document for a month visa. There were also quarreling inside the office where it seems like two of the teachers helping me couldn't agree on how to handle the visa. Later the one teacher I was in contact with denied that he ever promised me a visa.

So for me this is a school who do not how to handle visa which cost me several hundred dollars in traveling expenses.

This shop has very polite and helpfull owner. They have many bikes with different sizes and styles (from child bikes, mountains bikes to speed bikes). You can also buy wide range of bike accessories there (clothes, speedometers, watches, tools etc.etc.)... They also provide prompt and inexpensive service. The best bike shop in Kunming! They only don't speak English...

I contacted Hui, the owner of Pegasus shop by email before I came to Yunnan where I planned a two weeks bicycle trip from Kunming to Jinghong (Xishuangbanna). Hui replied the same day and was very helpful and efficient. Not only he proposed a very good -yet cheap- touring bike for rent, but he also organized the bicycle return from Jinghong, so I didn't have to come back to Kunming.
When I arrived at his shop, he was very nice and welcoming (he even invited me to his place for dinner with his family !). Before I left Kunming, he did everything so the bike suits me, helped me to fix the bike bags and front basket that I brought from France, gave me some advices for directions and gave me a map.
I definitely recommend this shop !

Terrible experience with incompetent doctors attempting to force me to engage in the referral round about. Nothing more than a money grubbing, ethically challenged institution fooling people under the claim of "International hospital". The translator's honest attempt to help was the only positive in this experience and if anyone is fooled by the claims of "International" competence, you have been warned!

This place is AMAZING! The owner really decorated this place in excellence and beautiful detail. It is an oasis from the norm and the food is fantastic. The local staff do a great job in making sure we are comfortable and our glasses are full. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. A must eat for lunch...

Been here several times lately and every time I've enjoyed my meal. Don't know why some others have said it was pricey, the price has always seemed fair to me :)

The probably most family friendly place. They have a spacious area with toys, crayons and other children entertaining materials around. The owner and the staff always have a little play time for the kids, at least when we were there.

If they would get a little play area for kids, it would get all my votes for favorite 'everything', at the gokunming awards. There is a playground (entrance fee, quite steep). So If you have kids it's the best place to hang out. The owner has a lot of kid treats for kids, organic unsweetened yogurt, etc.

The pizza is great, and could compete with other pizza joints in China. For my taste it's a bit heavy on garlic but, if you let the staff know they will moderate the garlic use.

I can only agree with the other posters. Prices seem steep but when you see the pizza, it makes sense. Portions are huge. I ordered a family pizza for a treat to 15 kids, we still had left overs, and we were all stuffed.

The dough is a bit thicker but the tomato sauce tastes fresh made, and the amount balances the dough thickness. It's always plenty of ingredients on the pizza.

So in total it's a great spot, with good prices and good and healthy varieties. If you are with kids, it is a really good spot. If the staff is busy or the toys are taken, just send your kid to the indoor playground, opposite. Watch them have fun, from the huge glass windows and enjoy a nice draft, or craft beer while munching on your tomato Frisbee.

That's why I am giving it 5 stars.
