The Chengong Campus Library of Yunnan University is one of the "Top 10 Most Advanced University Libraries in China" and is also the largest single-building library in the province with a building area of nearly 60,000 square meters. It houses a collection of 3.8 million books and can accommodate more than 6,000 people reading at the same time.

Recently, the Chenggong Library won the 2016-2017 China Construction Project "Luban Award" (National Quality Engineering) with its uniqueness. It is the highlight of both the ancient and modern beauty.

Built in the French architectural style which Yunnan University has kept for more than 90 years, the library also has modern functions, perfectly interpreting the integration of both the Chinese and Western culture.
