The food is pretty good, but overpriced.

The seafood pancake was over 90 RMB. It's the only place I know of where you can get the Korean chicken with an authentic tasting seasoning. It was pretty good, although some pieces consisted almost entirely of bone. The chicken dish costs 88 RMB. If the prices were half of what they are now, we would go there again, but as it is now it's the last time we went.

I've been to SSAM about 6-7 times now, and I love the food .

I've lived in Seoul for work for 2 years, came to Kunming recently, and I must say this is the most authentic korean restaurant in kunming.

their homemade kimchi is the original taste as in Seoul, and their marinated bulgogi and kalbi is as authentic as you can get.

SSAM's seafood pancake is so much better than other fake Korean restaurants in Kunming — this is the real deal people.

for those that have traveled to Korea know what's the real stuff .

I've been to SSAM twice now, both times getting the lunch box deal but with different dish choices. The food has been delicious each time and the wait staff is attentive but not hovering. The only reason I'm not giving a five-star review is I haven't tried enough of the dishes yet. Big fan, will definitely be back.

Not so good. Kimchi had a very sour taste. Other food was nothing to brag about. I don't think I would go back.

Is this place new, has it just changed to a fantastic new menu, or are there other forces at play here?
