Learn wrong at first then will be much more hard to change later.

Have a good basic knowledge is necessary for get a high level about anything. Not only about English.

So should we provide bad English teaching to Chinese kids?

But I understand the first problem are the school who enroll that kind of foreigner. If the school don't do it. The foreigner won't be it so easily

@maxchina, between the teachers, schools and Chinese parents who do you think are the ones who should be more conscious of that?

A lot of foreigner teachers don't stay long in these 'schools' or 'training centers' as evidence by the constant turn overs. Just look at the classifieds and you will see the same schools. Haina, MyGym, Inlingua, etc. So you will be able to find a job but chances are that they'll work you to death. These schools generally don't pay well if you are very qualified. As they mentioned, it's is ILLEGAL to work without a 'working visa'. These schools know this so if you get caught, be prepared to pay the price.

Hmm, I know plenty of people here teaching without 'relevant degrees.' Many job ads ask for 'a degree in any subject'

For sure the good job with working visa and good pay who provide good teaching is the most hard to find.

At least I am happy don't be a teacher and don't want to be it ^^

@Maxchina I know how hard it is, that's why I'm asking help...usually if you go through expats connections is easy than to apply though websites...especially if you are not a native speaker
