hi, I want to buy whisky,Johnnie Walker. but you know that in china the imported whisky is probably fake. I do not know how to tell it though it's packing. so I need some suggestions on it. which wine shop do you recommend in Kunming?

As far as I can remember, I haven't had issues with alcohol sold at Metro. Avoid buying it at Walmart and Carrefour though.

Unless somebody can produce phony Johnny Walker from Carrefour, I think I'd trust it. I'd trust it from Walmart too, but I hate the place. I've never been to Metro.

It sound ridiculous enough but a Chinese person I know - an importer/promoter of alcohol - said Carrefour also got fake alcohol. I regret to say this and I have nothing against Carrefour - on the contrary it has been a really handy place. And lets say, he may have had personal interests in his opinions too, but it sounded convinced enough.

If mmkunmingteacher really need to have evidence then send a pm and I say where you can go and ask. The bus number I do not know, but this is a central location. Heh.
