hello we're teaching English a couple of hours from Kunming. we want to get so excited we can't breathe this weekend about our new-found faith in humanity following the establishment of the brand shiny new president-elect.
we've come to Kunming a few times before and despite visiting the supposed English-speaking haunts were strapped to find anyone we could talk to.
we've been here a couple of months now and, god forbid i'm not suggesting we're desperate, but we would find it most pleasing to meet some native-english speakers.
i didn't mean to post that..
now i can't delete it. i'm not a twat. please let's organise an Obama celebration this weekend somewhere in Kunming. Americans, English, Australians or anyone who gives a fuck as no one here does. ok that's all. please forgive my turn of phrase.
cctv9 is rotting my brain. neuro-impulses i mean to say my hands hit submit not me. please see through the twaddle to the message. that's it.
No native speakers to speak to? I'm sure if you look hard enough you'll it. I'm mean its pretty easy to pick out the "laowai" amongst the crowd of local people. But if you are still having difficult, try going to Salvador's in Culture Ally (Wenhua xiang)...There are always tons of native speakers there.
My god! Now I'm beginning to speak broken English...here is what I meant to say:

There are many more native English speakers here than people who want to celebrate the election of Obama.
That doesn't sound bitter, right?
