So many top foods to agree with on this discussion but just add some of my top faves to it still...
chips in gravy
pie and mash
sunday roast
As can see I obviously like gravy, which is why I made sure to bring a few pots of Bisto in my luggage lol

Kellog's cornflakes and Kellog's branflakes.
I know you can get cornflakes here, but they are not in the same league as Kellog's.
Agree with chips and gravy!
@ tiger No Kellog's here?
A guess: it is the British and the Americans who have the biggest problems with food in Kunming.
I love food in Kunming just once in a while a portion of chips and gravy would go down a treat :o)
Now that I've been here I know I miss something from home, but I don't know what. Occasionally I find myself wandering up and down the same import food aisles of a store, feeling like there should be something I want, but not actually knowing what it is. It's the strangest thing...
sounds really deli... i wanna eat all those things you people mentioned lol! as for now, i am going to kunming in 2 weeks, so im looking forward to the extra sweet pumpkins and green grapes sour, peaches and taste of vegetables there. for some reason i rememeber better tasting vegtables in km than in sg where im at right nw
