Just looking to get some shirts altered and a pair of pants hemmed. Anyone have a trusted tailor around the center of town?

I get alterations done by my local dry cleaners. They send stuff out. I usually pay 10rmb for hemming.

I use the little lady just down the road from me, on the corner of Yuanxi and Yuantong Bei Lu. She charges 10 RMB for mending and hemming.

Many neighborhood hardware stores, and some other small stores will have a sewing machine just inside the door. You will see them everywhere. They can all do basic alterations.
